Where printed menus still win
- Guests who are not comfortable with phones, or who prefer holding a menu.
- No power, no network, no dependency on any device.
- A small drinks or dessert list that never changes.
- Fine-dining formats where the printed piece is part of the experience.
If any of those matter to you, keeping a printed menu and adding a QR menu alongside it is a reasonable setup — not a compromise.
Where a digital menu wins
- Menu items or prices that change during the month.
- Sold-out dishes that need to disappear from the menu during service.
- Guests waiting to catch a waiter's attention to place an order.
- Wanting to know which dishes and categories actually sell.
- Adding item photos without paying for a new print run.
The cost question, without the maths being done for you
We are not going to invent a printing quote. Ask your printer what one full revision costs — design, plate or plate-free setup, and the copies themselves — then hold that next to the Starter plan at ₹299/month. If you revise your menu more than a couple of times a year, the digital side is usually the cheaper half of that comparison, and it includes ordering rather than just display.
